R-LINE - Brazed plate heat exchangers for refrigeration.

Employed as refrigerant evaporators and condensers, R-type brazed plate heat exchangers are essential elements of heavy-duty refrigerating systems.
The units have been designed for specific values of temperature and pressure occurring in the process of evaporation and condensation. An exceptional design of heat exchange area ensures the reduction in potential damages to the compressor thanks to additional superheating of refrigerant vapours.
Special manufacturing process and quality control procedures ensure a unique durability and hence, long-term operations and maintenance. Prior to shipment, each heat exchanger is tested for pressure and dimensions.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE

The heat exchange area is composed of stainless steel corrugated panels made and integrated by means of copper brazing. The exchanger operates following the principle of media flow in a parallel counter-current system.

Evaporators

A two-phase refrigerant is sent to the bottom connection on the heat exchanger refrigerant side. It becomes completely evaporated when flowing through the channels; simultaneously, it will acquire the requisite rate of superheating. Water or brine solution flows in counter-current way.

Condensers

Hot refrigerant vapours are sent to the top connection on the heat exchanger refrigerant side. They become condensed when flowing through the channels; simultaneously, they will acquire the requisite rate of sub-cooling. Similarly as in the case of evaporator, water or brine solution flows in counter-current way.

DMF SYSTEM

A unique system of dynamical distribution of the boiling agent - DMF system - has been developed by SECESPOL for evaporators featuring higher refrigerating effect. The system ensures a balanced distribution of the agent inside the evaporator channels and simultaneously reduces the fluctuations in vapour superheating.
